On Saturday morning Ryan woke me up and informed me that he had a day planned for us in CHICAGO!
I truly thought he was kidding and I was going to be very upset if he woke me up for no reason. But to my surprise, he DID have a hotel reserved and a day of shopping planned in Chicago. We left by 10:00 and were shopping on Michigan Ave by 12:30. Unfortunately as soon as we got to our hotel it started snowing. The snow wasn't too bad, but it was not as fun when the snow turned to rain. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend in Chicago!
When we got settled in our modern hotel room there was a birthday book on the end table. Ryan opened the book to his birthday. We found it VERY exciting to see that a person born on October 18th was compatible with someone born on September 8th. Huh? True soul mates! 
Even though it rained/snowed for most of the day. Ryan and I had a wonderful day shopping on Michigan Ave. We made sure to stop at ESPN Zone and the Harley shop. We ended the evening with an amazing meal at the Cheesecake Factory. We were planning to shop more on Sunday, but due to the pouring rain, we decided to go home. What a great weekend!
