Go Pack Go!

Ryan and I were SUPER excited for the Packer game this past Sunday, so we decided to head up to Green Bay to be in the hub-bub of it all!
Luckily our good friends Mark and Marisa had the same idea! We met at their house, dressed up in as many layers as we could, and headed to Lambeau Field...

People watching was the best! This is a famous fence painter whose masterpiece is across from Lambeau.

People did everything they could to stay warm...Look it is Sponge Bob Square Pants with an enormous cheese head on!

We tailgated with company that Mark and Marisa knew of. The food was amazing. You had to drink your drink as quick as you could, or it would start to freeze - who needs ice!

Here is Ryan posing with Saint Vince...I bet you have seen his guy on TV before

Mark got a kick out of Favre Vator..."Brett I am your Faaaaattthhhhheeeerrr."

After many hours of tailgating, trying to stay warm, and bargaining for tickets (that the sellers would not come down on), we decided to head to a very crowded bar to watch the game.

Marisa and I are no longer freezing, we are now sweating with all our layers on.

Ryan and I had a BLAST in Green Bay! We ended up leaving that night, as we both had to work (thankfully without kids) the next day. It took us an hour to get out of Green Bay, we made a pit stop at McDonalds at 11:00, just as they were closing, since we hadn't eaten since 2:00 (I do have to say McDonalds has never tasted so good), went to the bathroom and took off some layers at a 24 hour Festival Foods, and made it back to Gtown around 1:15. Not much sleep Sunday night, but WELL WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
Thanks for a memorable day Mark and Marisa (and Evelyn)
