Growing Belly

20 weeks

23 Weeks

I am finally feeling like I have a belly. The past few weeks I have really started to feel movements. The best is when Ryan can feel them as well. Baby Hoffe is rapidly growing and I am very excited that I am half way done. Honestly, I didn't enjoy the first three months of being pregnant, but now I love it. I have been taking a prenatal yoga/pilates class every week, which has really helped me relax and connect with Baby Hoffe. The more baby grows, the more weight I seem to gain, which I suppose goes without saying. I keep reminding myself that it is all for a good cause.

We had our 20 week ultrasound a few weeks ago. Everything turned out great. I do have to have another one, which I have scheduled for the 27th of October, because they couldn't get an accurate measurement of the stomach. I am not complaining. We had such a wonderful experience at the ultrasound appointment. The tech was awesome. We didn't want to find out the sex of the baby and he did a great job having us look away after each frame. I will keep you posted on the next ultrasound's results.

At my last appointment, my doctor said that everything is measuring perfectly. The heart rate was in the 150s and I gained plenty of weight...YIKES! I love watching that scale go up! My doctor also highly recommended that I get a flu shot. I had never had a flu shot before, so I had a few reservations, but knew it was best for baby!
