SNOW DAY!

What do two teachers do on a snow day...
1. Wait for the good news (my phone call came at 4:45am, Ryan's came around 5:30am)
2. Sleep in
3. Snowblow. Any other day I would have been out there helping, but I am sure my doctor would not approve. So, I had to pass on helping clear the 12 inches of snow off the driveway this time around...bummer!
4. Watch the pretty snow continue to fall all morning long.
5. Watch the tv reporters talk about the snowfall ALL morning long. Sseriously, I think I heard the same story at least 100 times.
6. Drink coffee/tea
7. Make pancakes for breakfast
8. Paint the dining room, the hallway, and the trim for the house.
10. Organize
11. Enjoy a dinner out with some good friends (the roads were great by 5:00)
12. Wake up on Saturday morning, knowing we still have 2 more days - or in Ryan's case, 2 more weeks (he is on Winter Break). I still have 2 more days of school.

Our house is starting to come together. We are so glad we will have a full week to work on getting things together and ready for Baby Hoffe to arrive. The kitchen cabinets have been shipped. We should have them installed in a week, the appliances will be delivered New Years Eve, and the counter tops will get ordered. We also hope to get the half bath and the guest bathroom done during break...wishful thinking? Maybe, but we plan to work as hard as we can...Baby Hoffe will be here before we know it! :)
