Saying a little prayer! Brooklyn folded her hands all on her own!

On Monday we had our first play date. It was more of a lunch date for us. We got together with our good friends Jay, Kristin, and Jack. Kristin was due one day after me and gave birth to her beautiful son Jack Christopher exactly one week earlier than me. It was really fun going through our pregnancies together. Now we are really excited to have play dates together. Can you tell the kids were REALLY excited to see each other today?


On Tuesday morning we went out for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel and then ran a few errands. Ryan wanted to go out one last time before he headed back to school.

It was a lovely morning spending time together as a family.

Brooklyn took had her first bottle last night. Our pediatrician said to start giving her one bottle a day. So that meant that I had to start pumping - what a weird experience. The things we do for our babies. Ryan took Brooklyn to our office and enjoyed feeding his little princess. She took the bottle wonderfully! What a smart little girl!

It was SO nice having Ryan home for two weeks and two days. I honestly couldn't have done it without all his wonderful help. Today was his first day back at work. We sure miss him! He is looking forward to having the month of May off. We are REALLY looking forward to having him home for a whole month! Thanks for being such a great Daddy! We love you!
