6 Weeks Old

This week Brooklyn is getting over her cold. For the last two weeks her sleep patterns haven't been the best. However, she has slept through the night for the last three nights. I consider sleeping from 10:30-7:30 sleeping through the night. YIPEEE! We hope this sleeping pattern continues, but aren't getting our hopes up quite yet.
Brooklyn is growing more and more every day. We aren't sure what she weighs right now, but we are guessing about 8-9 pounds. Our next appointment isn't until April 6th. She is awake a lot more during the day, which is so fun. She likes to go on walks, run errands with mommy, lay on her play mat and bat at the toys that are hanging in her face, and take baths. She loves to be talked to and smiled at. She is starting to smile more and is starting to make some "cooing" noises.

One of Brooklyn's favorite activities is to listen to Baby Einstein play time music and dance. She kicks her legs and moves her arms. She is going to be a fabulous dancer and singer some day.
We tried putting Brooklyn in the Baby Bjorn when she was 3 weeks old and it was much too big for her. We decided now that she is a big girl we would try it again...it works great! Ryan loves that he can do a few little projects and tell his little princess all about what he is doing.

Daddy's little girl!
