I celebrated my birthday on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday...what a lucky gal!
On Friday night, October 16th, Ryan and I went on a date for the first time in a long time. We had a neighbor girl babysit for the first time. She came around 6:00, we showed her the ropes, and went on our way. Kayla (our babysitter) was able to play with Brooklyn for about an hour and then successfully put her down for bed. We went out to dinner to a quaint little Italian place in Wauwatosa. It was amazing!!!! We ended the evening with a beverage at our local German bar. We were home by 10:30, but had a wonderful time reconnecting with each other.
On Saturdy we headed to the Badger game with our friends the Warners. We didn't get any pics of us altogether, but we sure had fun. We had separate seats, but met up after the game. We made it to the beginning of the fourth quarter and then decided to walk the streets of Madison for the rest of the game. Even though it is fun to go to the game, we were super crowded and uncomfy, which is why we decided to leave early. Brooklyn did a wonderful job. She slept on the way to Madison, slept for 2 quarters during the game, and then slept on the way home from Madison. After the game we went to the Roman Candle for Pizza ( a Warner favorite) and then made our way back to the Warner house for awhile. The boys played guitar hero while us girls played with the kids. Thanks for a fun day Warners!
Getting ready for a cool day outside...check out the new coat from Nana and Papa
Snoozing during the game
Hanging out with daddy
Playtime with Jack after the game
Rockin' to Guitar Hero
On Sunday (my actual b-day) we got up, went to Cheesecake Factory for a nice breakfast, ran a few errands, went on a nice walk, and had a nice dinner together. The day was filled with family quality time (my favorite thing in the world).
Lots of kisses for mommy on her birthday
Check out my new coat...we had to exchange it for different size, but I LOVE IT!!!!
