Ahhh...

...the last day of spring break!

What a gorgeous day! Today was definitely my favorite day of the whole spring break, because we spent the day as a family outside! Ryan worked hard all week putting in a kitchen for a friend and was finished (mostly) yesterday, so he was able to enjoy the day with us! Ryan and I worked hard on the yard while Brooklyn napped. When she woke up, she played outside with us for the rest of the afternoon! It was so much fun watching her pick up dirt, put it in her pail, stir it with the shovel, and then put it in her mouth. Yes, she ate dirt today! She was very sad when I told her that we don't eat dirt! :(

Check out her new bow. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to make bows this week, so I am hoping to make Brooklyn an assortment. We will see how handy I can be. Fortunately she loves "pretty bows" (as we call them) in her hair. She doesn't try to take them out and they are definitely needed right now, as her hair is getting so long. No, I am not going to cut it!

I had a wonderful spring break! The best was watching Brooklyn learn and grow each and every day. I am sad to go back to school tomorrow, but I know summer is right around the corner!
