Hoffe Family Fun: Our New Nephew

My sister Amy went into the hospital Wednesday, June 16 (in the afternoon), so Brooklyn and I headed to Madison to visit with my parents while we waited for Amy and Anthony to have their baby. Unfortunately for them, the process took a lot longer than expected, fortunately we were there to help keep my parents at little more at ease while we waited. Finally Friday, June 18 in the early morning, we heard that Amy and Anthony gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby. It was 8 lbs 2 oz and 18.5 inches long. We had to wait until we visited them in the hospital Friday morning to find out what they had. As we slowly entered the room, my mom said, "I see a blue hat". YEA....they had a boy! Jacob Anthony Racki is his name. He is perfect and has blonde hair. Very, very cute! I am so happy for them. It was a fun few days spending time with my family and waiting for the arrival of our newest family member.

While we waited, my mom, dad, Brooklyn and I headed to the Madison zoo. It was a beautiful day, so we made the most of it.
