30 weeks

Today I am 30 weeks along...YIKES...that sounds so scary. I am starting to get real anxious, especially knowing anything can happen after 35 weeks. That means that I have 5 weeks to get ready for baby. I want to be completely ready by the end of October. I just have a feeling that this baby is going to come early. I could be totally wrong, but I would much rather be overly prepared!

28 weeks

I am feeling really good for 30 weeks. I feel HUGE and if you look at the pictures of me the last two weeks, you can see for yourself. This baby is MUCH bigger (or at least my belly is) this time around. I don't feel like the weight is going other places (even though it is), which is a good thing. People at work tell me that I don't look pregnant from behind and then I will turn around and WHAM... yep, I am having a baby! I have an appointment next week and then I start going every other week. Let the count down begin.

29 weeks

I continue to think this baby is a boy. I will be VERY surprised if it is a girl. I am carrying a "basketball" as they say, in front of me. This baby continues to be a mover and a shaker. He/she moves ALL day and ALL night. Some nights I don't get much sleep because of all the movements. It is fun to see the foot or hand go across the belly. The only thing that worries me is that I still have 2 months to go..how much bigger is this baby and my belly going to get? I seriously don't think my skin can stretch anymore.

We are going to be working on switching the kids bedroom furniture over the next few weeks. I need to start thinking about the essentials I will need for baby, buying some boy/girl clothes, getting my hospital bag packed, freezing some meals, preparing a to do list for November and December, start holiday shopping, get my sub plans all in order for when I am on leave, etc, etc, etc... So much to do and so little time to do it. Now that school is in session, trying to balance out life gets to be challenging, epsecially since all I want to do is go to bed early.
