36.5 Weeks

I am currently 36.5 weeks and counting. At my last doctor's appointment, which was Wednesday, I was informed that I am showing "progress"! That was very exciting news for me. I have been feeling a lot of funny things lately and now I know why. I never progressed with Brooklyn, so I am actually a little scared knowing that things could start happening any time. I also know that I could progress very slow and still have the baby around my due date. My doctor did say though that since things are progressing, she would be happy to induce the week before my due date (around Thanksgiving) if the baby hasn't come yet. That night I immediately started rereading the chapters about labor and delivery. I know it has only been 2 years, but I forget what the process is if I were to go into labor. I will have to ask more questions at my next doctors appointment on Tuesday.
I am feeling ok, but am waddling pretty bad. I cleaned my car out and put the infant car seat in my car on Sunday. The next few days my back was terribly sore. I could barely walk. My back is starting to feel a little better, but I am still pretty stiff and slow moving (which is very unusual for me). I have horrible heartburn, especially at night and don't really have an appetite. I don't sleep well, so I feel very tired throughout the day, but have so much to do that I just keep going. This baby continues to be a mover and a shaker. It is fun to watch my belly go crazy. I think the movements are the one thing I will really miss when this is all said and done.
Until next time...
