On Sunday morning, we headed to MN to celebrate Christmas with my family. We didn't make it to visit my relatives in Pipestone this year (too far to travel with too little ones), but my parents went and got home Sunday evening.
We left for the cities before nap time, in hopes that Brooklyn would take a good nap once we got to my parents house. We decided to put in a movie on Ryan's laptop for the second time (first time was on the way to EC). The only thing is that the battery last an hour (we need to get a plug converter thing). Brooklyn loves watching Happy Feet...look at the luxury (yea right).

it was so funny to watch this picture happen!

Overall with 5 grand kids 3 and under, the consensus was that this Christmas was organized chaos...but a BLAST and very memorable! I think at one point every child was crying! We quickly had the kids finish opening their presents, got them into their jammies, and put them to bed before we finished opening the rest of the presents. This year we decided to exchange a male and female gift card, which my mom had a fun "left, right" game we played to see which gift card we would end up with.
We are looking forward to next year already...however there will have to be a few changes, one being the time of the day we open presents. Opening them after bedtime just doesn't seem to work. Plus, next year everyone will be one year older...which will hopefully make for less chaos.
Thank you to my mom, dad, and family for a wonderful Christmas! I LOVE spending time with them and ALWAYS get sad to leave. I don't think my mom and I ever say goodbye without crying....it is just our thing! Love you mom!
