Emmett is 3 months old!
He is getting to be such a strong, happy little boy. He is such a joy to be around and I feel blessed that I am able to be home with him for the first 4 months of his life.

Emmett is smiling so much and definitely knows his mommy! He not only coos, but I feel he is really starting to talk to me. It is so fun.

Emmett likes to sit up more. He likes to be propped up on the couch or sit in the
bumbo (for a short period of time). He doesn't like the swing very well. He loves to be held!

He continues to let us know when he is unhappy or something is wrong. Some days I feel like he cries all day, when other days he doesn't seem to cry much at all. I still think something is bugging him with his tummy. Some days he spits up a ton and other days he doesn't spit up at all. It is frustrating trying to figure it all out. I am pro breast feeding if it works for the mother and the baby, but I am still trying to figure out if it is best for Emmett. I have been continuing my formula versus breast milk experiment, but there doesn't seem to be a "night and day" difference as many people tell me there was for them. So, I continue to nurse and supplement with formula once a day. I am hoping now that Emmett is 3 months, things will start to get better.

Emmett is reaching for toys and can hold onto ring like toys for a little bit. He loves playing with and sucking on his hands.

Brooklyn loves to play with him and give him toys. In this picture she was saying "it's coming to get you Emmett" and she would set the rattle on his lap. She is so sweet!

She loves to kiss his toes.
