Grammy and Grandpa Q came to Milwaukee to visit for the 4th of July weekend. We asked them to come down to visit and to babysit for a day. On Saturday, July 2nd Grammy, Brooklyn, Emmett and I went to the zoo while the boys did yard work at home. It was a gorgeous day. Brooklyn showed Grammy all the wonderful animals in the zoo. We walked everywhere and had a lovely time together.
Brooklyn was such a good girl that we rewarded her with her first trip on the carousel. She wasn't so sure about it at first, but by the end she loved it and didn't want it to stop.

After the kids napped and we finished putting down mulch, we took my parents out to dinner at the Milwaukee Ale House. It was a beautiful evening so we walked the river walk a little after dinner.
We celebrated our 7th year anniversary a day early.
We had a lovely day and a wonderful evening!
