One of my favorite days of the year is Mother's Day! I love spending quality time with my family (not that I don't do that on other days of the year) and this day means so much to mean for so many reasons. I am so thankful for my own Mother who has always been a wonderful role model, has taught me nothing but the best, and is my forever best friend.
I also feel so blessed and honored to be a Mommy to two beautiful children who mean the absolute world to me. Motherhood brings out the best in me and I count my blessings every day that I am able to experience all this journey has to offer. I love you so much Brooklyn and Emmett!

Brooklyn has to patch her right eye for 2 hours (minimal) every day. She is a real trooper about it. I can't imagine not being able to see out of one eye, especially when what I do see is with my bad eye.
Emmett continues to be Mr. Smiley!
