The Brunette Hoffe's hosted their annual Downer Day celebration. This year Brooklyn made her debut in the 3 year old bike race. She isn't riding a bike yet, but was very proud to ride her trike. I don't think she understood the concept of the race, as she rode slow, looked at everyone and everything, tried to take everything in, and was the second to last finisher. The best part was at the end of her mini race she started crying. She wanted to keep racing! She didn't understand that the race was over. It was very sweet. She said she can't wait to do it again next year. Hopefully she will be on a bike next time!
When all the little races were over it was time to watch the real race. Both kids were in awe!
