This weekend the family, minus Amy and Anthony (because they had a wedding to attend), came to Milwaukee for a weekend of fun. On Saturday morning, Katie, mom, Daniel, and I headed to the playground by our house, while Jen and Nate took a Harley Ride.
Around 2:00 we packed up the suburban and headed to Miller Park for a day of tailgating. The weather couldn't have been more perfect! We played Washers, ate fajitas, and drank some yummy margaritas. The beautiful day was cut short, as dark clouds rolled in and it began to rain. We made it to the gates of Miller Park just in time. The Brewer/Twin game was an eventful one. It went into 12 innings and the Twins finally won the game. Oh well....we won last year!
On Sunday morning we headed to Madison to meet Amy, Anthony and Anthony's family for a Father's Day brunch. We ate at the Concourse Hotel, which is where Amy and Anhtony's reception will take place. It is a very lovely place.
We had a great weekend with the family! I can't wait until we all go camping in July!
