If you thought the previous pictures of our construction zone home were bad, take a look at these! Yep, this is just how we live right now! We are okay with it (as okay as we can be) knowing that the end result is going to be beautiful and definitely worth the mess. As Ryan took out the carpet in the living room and started taking out some of the hardwood, so we could add the new hardwood, we decided we would save the kitchen from getting really dusty. So, we put up a plastic barrier for a week. Lovely, I know!
This is what the pantry in our kitchen looked like...
Here is Ryan all filled with dust, after cutting it out. Notice how he is thinking so intensely..well, things never seem to come easy for us. After tearing out the walls, Ryan found yet another heating vent that was in the way. You have got to be kidding. So, his bright brain got to work and came up with a plan to put the heating vent in the wall...what a guy!
Can you see all the dust in the air? Ahhh...I love cooking with a dash of dust. He He He!
Here is what the family room looked like as we took out the family room carpet and cut some hardwood floor from the kitchen, so that there was a distinct line when we added the new hardwood.
