On Friday night I was super excited to have a night out with the girls. First they came to my parents house to meet Brooklyn. We stood around in a circle and just looked at her.

Brooklyn couldn't get enough of all these pretty girls holding her.
After the goo goo gaa gaa over Brooklyn we headed out to dinner and went to see our favorite band - GB Leighton! It was so nice to see everyone and to be able to have some time out with the girls.

A huge thank you to Grammy, Grandpa, Katie and Mike for babysitting Brooklyn while I went out with the girls. It was weird to be out without Brooklyn, but it felt good to be able to focus on something else. I think I have been away from Brooklyn maybe 5 times since she was born, so it was definitely needed. You quickly forget that there is a world beyond being a mommy.
