On Friday morning, my mom and I headed to MN for this week. We were SUPER sad to leave Ryan, but we needed to go away for a week. We got the floors finished one more time and we didn't want Brooklyn in those strong fumes. Since Ryan has to work, he was unable to join us. He is coming to MN on Friday and we can't wait to see him. For Easter, I bought my parents a web cam, so Brooklyn and I have been able to see and talk to him every night.
Here is Grammy and Brooklyn ready for the big trip...
As soon as we started driving Brooklyn fell asleep. She slept all morning (3 hours). We made an hour stop at a rest stop so she could eat and get out of her car seat for awhile. Brooklyn slept the rest of the way home. She gets that from her mommy. I love sleeping in the car.
We called my dad numerous times to let him know where we were at. He was SO excited to see his little granddaughter. He was home shortly after we got home and couldn't keep his eyes off her.
