Baptism

On Sunday, June 28th Brooklyn was baptised. It was a very special day for her. We feel blessed that our family was able to join in on her special day. She did a great job, especially since the service was the time she usually has her morning nap. She looked beautiful in her pretty white dress that my sister Katie wore when she was baptised. She also wore a beautiful gold bracelet that my mom, sisters and I all wore on our baptismal day. What a special surprise!

We thought it was neat how the pastor invited all the children of the congregation to join in on the blessing of Brooklyn.

Aunt Dar and Uncle Roger weren't able to make it to Brooklyn's baptism, but Aunt Dar made this beautiful cake for Brooklyn's special day. She has made a cross cake on this special platter, which they received as a wedding gift, for all of her grandchildren. We feel so honored that she continued the tradition for Brooklyn.
