Week 20

On Tuesday our good friends Marisa and Evelyn made a trip down to Milwaukee to visit. We made our way to the Milwaukee County Zoo on one of the hottest days of the year. We had a wonderful time. Christina, Jack, Sam and Jane (Christina's mom) joined us at the zoo.

Marisa had an extra pair of sunglasses that Brooklyn wore for a very short time. She wasn't too fond of them, but she sure looked stylish

Evelyn and Jack loved the Giraffes and the Elephants.

After the zoo we headed back to our house for some play time. We actually drove around awhile before we made it home so the girls could take a short little nap, while our carpet install was being finished. Once we got to our house, Evelyn and Brooklyn cuddled on the couch a little.

Evelyn also opened up a little birthday gift from us. She just got a new kitchen from her mommy and daddy, so we bought her some pots and pans for her new kitchen. She seemed to really enjoy them. She liked banging the lids together.

Other things from this week...

*Brooklyn absolutely loves her feet.

*She continues to put everything in her mouth.

*She is always a drooling mess.

*She has been finding her thumb more and more.

*She is napping really well, especially in her crib. She doesn't like to nap in her carseat anymore, unless we are on a long drive. Running errands is a little more tricky now. We definitely know when she is tired.

*She continues to roll from her tummy to her back on occasion.

*She is starting to roll from her back to her side.

*We think her face has changed a lot in the last two weeks.

*She like to push drool out of her mouth and make noises with her lips.

*She is a much happier baby now! :)
