4th of July

On Thursday we made a stop in EC to celebrate Nana's birthday. We went to lunch and then River Bend Vineyard. That night Nana and Papa watched Brooklyn while Ryan and I went out to eat at Mona Lisa's for dinner to celebrate our 5 year Anniversary.

On Friday we headed to MN to visit Auntie Katie, "to be" Uncle Mike, and Grammy and Grandpa. Ryan and I went to Cantebury downs that evening with friends. That was our first time there and we had a great time. They had an amazing fireworks display to end the evening.

On Saturday we got up early, spent some time with Brooklyn and then headed to Kendra and Greg's house. Ryan and I spent July 4th on Lake Minnetonka with our good friends. Although the day started out cloudy and we had a 30-40 minute rain storm go through (while on the lake) we still had a blast and made some good memories. We stayed at Kendra and Greg's on Saturday night, had a delicious home-made breakfast the next morning, and then headed back to my parents to resume mommy and daddy duties.

The girls watched the Eden Praire fireworks from Kendra and Greg's front yard.

While Ryan and I were having a good time with our friends, Brooklyn was enjoying her first 4th of July with Grammy and Grandpa. She took a nice morning nap, went to the Apple Valley parade, and then went to my parents friends house (the Bensons) for dinner. She had a great day! Thank you mom and dad for spending time with Brooklyn! We love you!
