As if the 4th of July weekend wasn't busy enough, Ryan and managed to celebrate our 5 year Anniversary on July 3rd. For the past 4 years we have made it tradition to go out to one of our favorite restaurants downtown Milwaukee and then watch the amazing firework spectacular over Lake Michigan. This year was a little different. We were in the cities and were able to share our special day with our friends. We went out for a nice dinner on Thursday night in Eau Claire and then went to Cantebury Park to watch the horse races with a bunch of friends on Friday. Thankfully they had a nice firework display at the end of the evening, so our firework tradition continued. Before we met up with our friends, we went to Stonebrook Golf Coarse (where we had our reception), had a celebratory beverage, sat outside on the gorgeous patio, and remember our special day 5 years ago!
I can't believe it has been 5 years! They say time flies...it sure does. I feel very blessed to have such a loving husband whom I continue to fall in love with more and more. I am very thankful that we had almost 5 years together before we had children. The time we shared together was better than I could have imagined. Now that we have a daughter to share our lives with, we feel even more blessed and wouldn't trade it for the world! Life is great! Thank you honey for an amazing 5 years! I look forward to many, many more... I love you!
