Today is a BIG day!

Today was a big day for Brooklyn! We decided to try cereal!!!!!! She is 24 weeks old today and we wanted to try cereal before her 6 month well check appointment on August 4th. We thought we would give it two weeks before the appointment, that way I could go in with a bunch of questions. A huge thank you to all my friends who have given me advice for this big day!

I nursed Brooklyn for awhile first and then I brought her to her high chair. She was not a happy camper at first. I don't think she was sure what was going on.

The cereal all ready to go...

mmmmm.... this is like what I usually eat, but with a twist

Brooklyn was determined to help me. I made the cereal really watery. She did a great job swallowing it, but she did manage to blow plenty of bubbles and push it out quite a bit. Honestly, she did much better than I was expecting.

After she ate, she went right to the tub. What a fun morning!
