Lions, Tigers, and Bears....Oh My!

On Sunday, July 12 we went to our first Circus parade downtown Milwaukee. There were a lot of people who enjoyed the festivities. I guess some people went and camped out on the streets on Friday at 5:00 to get the best seats...not us. We went about 10:30 Sunday morning (the parade started at 1:30), found a good spot, and enjoyed a beautiful summer day watching the circus parade.

There were so many beautiful circus trailer floats (if you call them that)

The best part of the parade was the animals. I only got pictures of the tigers. There were elephants, giraffes, lions, tigers, horses, just to name a few.
The clowns were a big part of the parade. I am not a clown lover myself, but they were fun to see.
Earlier that week, Brooklyn and I enjoyed another beautiful day at the zoo together. I usually like to go somewhere between her morning nap and her afternoon nap. We were at the zoo for only a few hours, but she seemed to enjoy her time. She is sitting facing out in her stroller now, which makes everything so much more exciting.

Up close and personal with the cows.

What is with that thumb in your mouth?
"I love going to the zoo with mommy!"
