This past weekend we ventured up to Eau Claire and then eventually Prairie Farm where we celebrated Fam Farm Fest 2009 with the Hoffe/Gilbertson crew. Jay and Ken live on approximately 80 acres of complete beauty. Every year we get together and celebrate family, life, and the beauty of the world. This year it was very hot, but nice. It rained in the evening, which put a damper on some of the evening festivities, but we still managed to have a blow out of a fire and enjoyed a few huge fireworks. We consider this Brooklyn's first camping trip, even though she slept inside. Ryan and I slept in a tent right outside the window of the room she was sleeping in, just in case she woke up in the middle of the night. I really wanted to put the pack and play in the tent, but there wasn't enough room. Looks like we need a bigger tent. It was a good thing she wasn't in the tent, because it rained pretty hard on and off all night.
Each year T-shirts are made for the whole family

We were exploring our new camera and took a plethora of pics of Brooklyn exploring the land. I couldn't decide which one I liked the best...here are only a few
