6 Months Old!

Brooklyn had her 6 month well-check appointment today. 6 months...that brings a little tear to my eyes when I say that. I can't believe she is 1/2 a year old! She is growing so much and is learning more and more every day.
New Stats...
Weight - 12 lbs 13 oz (4th percentile)
Height - 24 3/4 in. (10th percentile)
Head - 41.9 (20th percentile)
Try #1
Try #2

Try #3 (Mommy won this battle)

New things...
-Brooklyn is a rolling machine. She rolls from tummy to back easily. She rolls from back to side (almost to her belly)
-She can sit on her hands and knees (all fours) and rock for a minute
-She can stand assisted for a long period of time
-She loves to be sung to
-She loves looking in the mirror at herself.
-She says the "f" "b" "m" "w" sound when babbling.
-She loves rice cereal (we will be starting oatmeal and sweet potatoes later this week)
-She loves getting and giving kisses (open mouth ones, of coarse)
-She enjoys stroller rides (which is nice because I can get some longer walks in now)
-She loves chewing on every thing!!!!
-No teeth yet, but that is ok.
-She has been giggling a little more, but I still wouldn't consider her to be a "laugher" (yet)
-She reaches for toys and loves to bang/shake them.
We are very proud of our 6 month old! We plan to enjoy the last month together before we head back to school. I know she will be just fine once the end of the month comes, but I am sure my anxiety level will sky rocket. It always does in August regardless. I get excited for school, but know there is so much to do before the school year begins.
Happy 6 Month Birthday Brooklyn!!!! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

Other pics from the past few weeks...

We went to our first wading pool last week with our friends Kristin and Jack. Brooklyn loved the water at first, but then she remembered she didn't have a nap and got a little cranky.

Brooklyn LOVES this little doggie that Mr. Peterson (my former school principal) gave her. It plays "How much is that doggie in the window" when you pull its bone.
