Today (Monday) I didn't have school. We had a vacation day (it was meant as a snow day make up day, but we didn't have any snow days this year) and I enjoyed every minute of it! I could easily be a stay at home mom!
After Brooklyn got up, we enjoyed some breakfast as Daddy got ready for work. After breakfast while Ryan put on his coat and gathered his things for school, Brooklyn walked into the mudroom, grabbed her coat, and gave it to Ryan. It was super cute. She knew that it was time to go to Miss Anne's. What a smart little girl! We tried to explain that she got to stay home with mommy today!
She loves sunglasses. We will have to get her some this spring.
It was gorgeous day, so we decided to head to the zoo.
Going to the zoo this spring and summer is going to be so much fun! Brooklyn was so excited about all the animals. She loved the fish, sharks, cows, and giraffes because we got to see them close up. She was pointing at things and babbling away. Not one fussy moment (unlike last summer...I just never knew when her fussiness was going to begin). We hope to make the zoo a weekly trip this summer. Thanks for a fun day Brooklyn! You are such a fun little girl! I love you so much!
