I'm a big girl now...

Brooklyn is 13 months and learning more and more every day!
A few new things with "Little B"
-She doesn't like food as much as she used to. It is hard to get her to eat all the veggies she used to love! I did read that this is normal...I sure hope it gets better soon. Fortunately she still LOVES fruit!
-She babbles all the time. She says "go", "uh-oh", "hi", "bye", "boo", "dadda", "momma", "ah-da" (for all done). We are working on book and ball.
-Her naps vary, especially in length, but she still takes a morning and afternoon nap.
-She loves to play with little people and her water table filled with plastic balls.
-She loves to play with her dishes (the cabinet we allow her to play in). She has been trying to put the lids on her sippy cups. It is fun to watch her learn.
-She loves to brush her teeth. She signs (I don't know if it is the actual sign for brushing teeth, but we know what she is saying/signing) when she wants to brush her teeth after her bath each night.
-She is a walking machine. We are still working on standing up from sitting position without holding onto something. She is squating and standing more, so I think it will come.
-She loves to play hide and seek behind the drapes and behind some of the walls in our house.

mmmm....chili
learning how to use silverware
We are trying to let Brooklyn have as many opportunities as she can using silverware. She insisted on feeding herself oatmeal. Ah, the joy of cleaning the high chair after every messy meal!
She continues to love books. We will ask her to go get a book, she will go to her book basket, grab a book, and bring it to us. She babbles along as we read.
Her newest thing is helping us clean. She will put things away and she likes to wipe the cabinets.
She loves to move all the furniture around. The joys of having hardwood floors.

She is a little fish at swim lessons. She claps, splashes, and tries to blow bubbles.
Our first walk of the season! We can't wait for spring! I am so looking forward to the daily walks outside!
playing in the snow
She is such a big girl now, she sits in her big girl carseat. She was just getting too heavy for the infant carrier and she always threw a fit when it was time to go in her carseat. Now that she is in the big girl carseat, she hasn't complained once.
