The Monday before Christmas Emmett and I made a special trip to Oak Creek to visit my first grade friends and to introduce Emmett to the Meadowview staff. He was a good little boy and it was great seeing everyone. The kids were in awe of him and had LOTS of stories to tell me. They had lots of hugs for me, but kept their distance from Emmett (per my request). Some of the girls kept saying "Mrs. Hoffe you are so skinny". One boy said that I wasn't fat anymore....so innocent and sweet. I suppose - they never saw me without having a big belly. We made a visit on pajama/Polar Express day, which was fun to see. It was great to visit, but I am sure enjoying my time away. I will be back Friday, April 1st (whether I am ready or not).
