Happy Father's Day!

Yesterday Ryan was SUPER excited to celebrate his first Father's Day! We got up early (Brooklyn has decided to get up around 6-6:30 now, rather than 7-7:30), I made a special little breakfast for us, we put Brooklyn down for her morning nap, and we finished up a few little projects around the house. After lunch, Ryan went on a little motorcycle ride by himself, loaded some tools in his new trailer, and cleaned the garage, this is what he chose to do on his special day. It was hard to spend the day with his daughter when she slept for 5 hours of the day (not all at once, of coarse). For dinner we headed down to Jason, Holly, and Grahams house and had a delicious meal and special Father's Day cake that I made.

Happy First Father's Day Daddy! I love you!

Brooklyn was excited for Daddy to open up his presents.

She told me that her Daddy "rocked" so we decided to go on that theme for gifts this year. We made a special "Daddy You Rock" card, bought him a outside "workman's" radio, and Guitar Hero for the Wii. He was THRILLED!!!! He has always wanted Guitar Hero, so it was a big surprise for him! We love you Daddy - YOU ROCK!!!!

Brooklyn loves to suck on her fingers. I wish the teething process didn't take so long. Why can't they just come already?

A little pouty...Brooklyn has been moaning a lot lately.
I like to blame it on the teething process.

When it is hot out, this is what we like to wear! We actually had to put the air on this weekend. With a 2 story house, it was SO hot in her bedroom.

We spent the majority of the week hanging out with Ryan and making sure that he didn't over work himself. Each day, he felt a little better.
