Hoffe Family Fun: 11 Months

Brooklyn is 11 months old!

(sniff, sniff)

What a happy determined little girl Brooklyn is becoming. She is growing so big (especially in her belly) and getting smarter by the day. I can't believe in a week she will be ONE YEAR OLD! (sniff, sniff, sniff, sniff, sniff)

A few new things...

*Brooklyn is standing more and more. As the month has progressed, so has the length of time she stands on her own before sitting down.

*She is now adding a little bounce and claps when she stands.

*Crawls really fast. She rarely army crawls anymore.

*Almost standing up without holding onto things...getting more confident.

*Walks really fast behind her lion walker, her shopping cart, and holding onto our hands, but is very hesitant to walk on her own. She always sits down as soon as we let go of one hand or easy up on our hold.

*Sits in the bathtub on her own. No more little tub. She loves splashing in the water and playing with her toys.

*She "talks" to everything. She is constantly babbling. Only words are hot, mama, dada, up (once in awhile) and ma (for "more").

*Signs milk (which is the same for bye bye and water) and more. We are working on all done and thank you.

*Can point to her hair when you ask her. We are working on the other body parts.

*Loves peek-a-boo and touch and feel books. Check out the video of us reading below. She loves touching all the pages.

*Loves taking things out of baskets or containers and putting them back in.
