Today we went to the Betty Brinn Children's Museum with our friends Jack, Sam and Christina. We had never been there before and were amazed at all the wonderful things they had to offer. Brooklyn had SO much fun (the boys did too) and didn't want to leave. We will have to go back again. I don't have very many pictures of the kids together, because they were each busy exploring their own things.
The train was a favorite
(she looks frightened, but she actually was pretending she was sleeping and just starting to get up)
Playing with the teapot in the kitchen
(she had a few tumbles, but never cried....what a tough cookie)
Playing with the sound board
Dancing to music that she made with her feet on the piano (reminds me of the movie Big)
Dancing to music that was playing and watched herself on the TV
After our fun morning, we went to Potbelly's with the Hanks clan for lunch and then came home for a nap. You would think Brooklyn would be exhausted, as she didn't get much sleep last night and she had a very busy morning. Nope...2 hour nap (as usual). Fortunately I was able to get an hour nap in as well! :) After our naps, I finally blew up the pool (as much as I could before getting light headed) and we went outside for some water fun. Brooklyn wasn't quite sure about the pool at first, but by the end, she was sitting and splashing all around. I love this little girl! She is so much fun to play with! Sorry there are quite a few pictures that look very similar, but they were too cute to choose which ones to publish.
