What a beautiful hot summer morning. Brooklyn and I decided to make the most of it, so we went to the zoo again. We walked around and saw all the animals and then enjoyed a lovely lunch in the shade.

After lunch we decided to ride the train for the first time... it was so much fun

Brooklyn sat very well on the train and looked out the window. She even waved to the people below. I think she was in awe.

To end the wonderful morning we had together, we decided to share some rainbow sherbet (the perfect hot weather treat)

First she tried eating out of the bowl

Then I decided it would be so much easier for her to lick the cone

You mean I use my tongue and lick the ice cream?

I even get to eat the cone? This is so much fun!

We didn't even make it a mile out of the zoo and Brooklyn was already zonked! Signs of a fun morning!
